Research interests: Scientific interests are related to the wide range of Ukrainian-Polish Borderlands, primarily the national-religious relations in the Cholm Land and Pidlyashcha, the sources of Ukrainian-Polish conflicts in these territories, the origins of the cultural diversity of Cholm Land and Podlasie, their place in the history of Ukraine, Poland and Russia, the role of Orthodox, Greek Catholic and Roman Catholic churches in the cultural, social, economic and political history of the Ukrainian-Polish Borderlands
