FACULTY OF PHYSICAL CULTURE, SPORTS AND HUMAN HEALTH

The Faculty of Physical Education as a structural unit of Berdiansk State Pedagogical University was founded in 2010 on the basis of the specialty ‘Physical Education’ with the aim of qualitative training of highly qualified specialists in the field of physical education, sport and human health. The Dean of the faculty is Serhii H. Kushniriuk PhD in Physical Education and Sport, Professor.

The faculty trains higher education seekers in the following specialties:

• Physical Culture and Sport.
• Secondary Education (Physical Culture).
• Secondary Education (Human Health).

The teaching and educational process at the faculty is ensured by three departments:

• The Department of the Theory and Methods of Physical Education (headed by Natalia Samsutina, PhD in Education, Associate Professor);
• The Department of Physical Education (headed by Olena Tretiak, PhD in Education, Associate Professor);
• The Department of Foundations of Health, Physical Rehabilitation and Ecology (headed by Svitlana Khatuntseva, PhD in Education, Associate Professor).
