Biography

Nadiia O. Vientseva was born in 1976 in the city of Berdyansk. In 1997 she graduated with honor the Faculty of Preparing Primary School Teachers of Berdyansk State Pedagogical University.

From 1997 to 2002 she was working as a teacher of History at the Secondary School #5. In 2005 Nadiia O. Vientseva graduated with honor from the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of Berdyansk State Pedagogical University having obtained the qualification of a teacher of History and Ukrainian Studies.

Since 2001 Nadiia O. Vientseva has worked at the Department of Pedagogics of Berdyansk State Pedagogical University.

In 2007 Nadiia O. Vientseva completed her postgraduate study and defended her PhD thesis on the topic “Discussion as a Means of Motivation of Educational Activities of the7th-8th Grades Students at History Lessons” (13.00.02 “Theory and Methodology of Teaching History”). In 2007 she held the position of an Associate Professor of the Department of World History and Methods of Teaching History.

In 2009 Nadiia O. Vientseva was awarded an academic title of an Associate Professor of the Department of Methods of Teaching History. Since 2010 she has worked at the Department of History of Ukraine of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of Berdyansk State Pedagogical University, since 2012 as an Associate Professor  of the Department of Pedagogics of Higher Education, Management of Educational Institution and Methods of Teaching Social Sciences of the Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities of Berdyansk State Pedagogical University, since 2017 as an Associate Professor of the Department of Management and Administration.

Nadiia O. Vientseva was awarded Honorary Diploma of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for many years of diligent work, significant personal contribution to the development of the scientific sphere and on the occasion of the Day of Science (2010), Diplomas of Berdyansk State Pedagogical University for active scientific work, publication of articles and manual (2005) and for the best results in research activity (2008), Diploma of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine (2010), the badge of “Distinguished Educator of Ukraine” (2015).

In 2017 Nadiia O. Vientseva defended her Doctoral thesis on the topic “Development of Higher Historical Pedagogical Education of Ukraine in the First Half of the XXth Century” as per program subject area 13.00.01 General Pedagogics and History of Pedagogics.
