In September 2015, during the 70th session of the UN General Assembly in New York at the Summit, the outcome document “Transforming Our World: The 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development” approved 17 Sustainable Development Goals and 169 tasks. Like other UN member countries, Ukraine joined the global sustainable development process.

Taking into account the Decree of the President of Ukraine, “On the Goals of Sustainable Development of Ukraine for the period up to 2030,” dated September 30, 2019, the mission, vision, and development priorities of the Berdyansk State Pedagogical University are aimed at implementing the sustainable development goals of Ukraine to ensure comprehensive education, balance economic, social, and ecological dimensions of sustainable development of our country. These priorities are reflected in the regulatory framework of the university, in particular in the Charter of BDPU, the Development Strategy of the University, and other regulations:
