Biography

Maksym Lukianchykov

2002-2005 – studied at B.M. Liatoshynskyi Music College of Kharkiv and obtained his junior specialist diploma as per program subject area ‘Musical Art’ and qualification of a concertmaster, an ensemble artist and а teacher; majored in grand piano;

2005-2009 – studied at I.P. Kotliarevskyi Kharkiv State University of Arts and obtained his bachelor’s diploma as per program subject area ‘Art’ and qualification of a concertmaster and a teacher (grand piano and organ);

2005-2009 – worked as a concertmaster and piano teacher at children’s music school №10 in Kharkiv;

2010 – graduated from Berdyansk State Pedagogical University and obtained the diploma of a specialist with honours as per program subject area ‘Pedagogy and Methods of Secondary Education. Music’ and obtained his qualification of a Music teacher and a teacher of Artistic Culture;

2010 – has worked as a concertmaster at the Department of Music Education;

2011 – completed his Master’s degree course with honours at Berdyansk State Pedagogical University and received a full higher education as per program subject area ‘Pedagogy and Methods of Secondary Education. Music’ and obtained his qualification of a lecturer in a Musical Instrument (grand piano) and a Music teacher;

competed in international music festivals and contests:

  • a prize winner of the 10th International Festival of Slavic Grand Piano Music (Melitopol, 2009);
  • an award winner of Art – Klavier, the 3rd International Grand Piano Competition among the students of pedagogical educational establishments (Kyiv, 2010);
  • a laureate of the 11th International Festival of Slavic Grand Piano Music (Melitopol, 2010);
  • laureate of the second prize of Crimean Spring, the 10th International Festival Competition of Young Performers (Yalta, 2011);
  • an award winner of the Polish Classical Music Festival (Berdiansk, 2011);

2015 – graduated from the postgraduate school at Berdyansk State Pedagogical University as per program subject area 13.00.04 – The Theory and Methods of Professional Education;

May 31, 2017 – defended his PhD thesis on the theme The Formation of Design Skills in a Future Music Teacher in the Process of Professional Training at Specialized Academic Councils for PhD Thesis Defence K 18.092.01 at Berdyansk State Pedagogical University (thesis adviser – L.I. Zaitseva, Doctor of Pedagogy, Professor).

2018 – Lecturer at the Department of the Theory and Teaching Methods of Art Disciplines.
