Biography
Was born in 1960 in Berdyansk Zaporizhzhya region.
At 1982 graduated Donetsk State University. Specialty: Physics.
Qualification: Physicist. Teacher (diploma ІВ-1 No. 171619 30.05.1982)
In 2006 he defended at Odessa State University II Mechnikov Doctoral the dissertation “Heterostructures on the basis of single crystalline and porous A2B6 and A3B5 compounds”, specialty 01.04.10 – Physics of semiconductors and dielectrics.
Valery Kidalov works at Berdyansk State Pedagogical Institute since August 1984.
Valeriy Kidalov is a laureate of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine scholarship for young scientists (decision of the collegium of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine dated 24.04.03, protocol 5 / 6-13 and resolution of the Committee on State Prizes of Ukraine in the field of science and technology of 23.06.03). №2). For many years of conscientious work, successes in scientific-pedagogical and educational work he was awarded the badge “Excellence in education of Ukraine” (certificate №71784 dated 08.04.05.).
In 1996 he received the degree of “Soros docent”.
Since 1997 he has been the head of the state budget topics funded by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and the State Fund for Basic Research:
- “Heterojunctions based on A2B6 compounds obtained by radical-beam epitaxy”.
- “Ultraviolet lasers based on nanoporous GaAs”.
- “Radical-beam getter epitaxy – a new method in the technology of semiconductor instrument structures based on multicomponent A3B5 compounds”
Since 1999 he has been the head of the physics department of Berdyansk State Pedagogical University.
In 2000, under the leadership of Kidalov V.V. jointly with the Institute of Physics of Semiconductors named after V.E. Lashkar’s Laboratory of Optoelectronics.
In 2007, under his leadership, the Research Institute of Nanotechnology and Systems Engineering was established.
Holds patents of Ukraine and international patent.
Under his leadership, the scientific school “Heterojunctions based on porous A3B5 compounds obtained by the method of radical-beam epitaxy” was created.
In 2013 he gained the knowledge of “People’s figure of science and technology”.
