Biography

Viktoriia Hryhorieva was born on August 25, 1971 in Zaporizhzhia.

1993 – has been working at Berdyansk State Pedagogical University;

1995 – graduated from the Faculty of Preschool Education of P.D. Osypenko State Teachers’ Training Institute as per program subject area ‘Preschool Education. Music’;

2010 – defended her PhD thesis Methodological Fundamentals of Formation of Creative Thinking of Primary School Pupils in the Process of Artistic Activity at National Pedagogical Dragomanov University in specialty 13.00.02 “The Theory and Methods of Music Teaching” (thesis adviser – S S. Horbenko, Doctor of Pedagogy, Professor at National Pedagogical Dragomanov University) and obtained her PhD in Pedagogy diploma;

2010 – has been an Associate Professor of the Department of Music Education at BSPU.

Area of scientific interests – integrated teaching of Art at comprehensive schools of Ukraine; vocal and choral education of student youth and development of their conducting competence; establishing the professional identity of future music teachers.

Viktoriia Hryhorieva

• is the author of about 50 scientific articles and methodological recommendations;
• 2011 – published an individual monograph Methodological Fundamentals of Formation of Creative Thinking of Primary School Pupils in the Process of Artistic Activity;
• is an author of 3 textbooks, including that approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine;
• is a co-author of three collective monographs;
• has been working on her doctoral research on the theme: Theoretical and Methodological Foundations of Forming Professional Identity of Future Teachers of Musical Art in specialty 13.00.04 – “The Theory and Methods of Professional Education”;
• was awarded the Certificate of Merit of the oblast Directorate of Education and Science, the Certificate of Honour of the Ministry of Education and Science, and in 2017, the Badge of Honour ‘Distinguished Educator of Ukraine’ of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
