Biography

Mykhailo Hrytsenko was born on April 17, 1956 in the village of Vozdvyzhenka, Mykhailivskyi region, Prymorskyi Krai.

In 1978 M. Hrytsenko graduated from the Faculty of Economics of Poltava Agricultural Institute as per program subject area “Economics and Organization of Agriculture”. In 1983, he graduated from Poltava Cooperative Institute as per program subject area “Economics of Trade”.

From September 1985 to August 1988 M. Hrytsenko was a postgraduate student at Kharkiv Agricultural Institute. In 1990 he successfully defended his PhD thesis as per program subject area 08.00.05 ˗ “Economics, organization, planning in the branches of the national economy”. The topic of the thesis is «Improvement of Placement and Specialization of Agricultural Production (on the example of Sumy oblast), a scientific superviser ˗ Vice-rector for Scientific work of Kharkiv Agricultural Institute, PhD in Economic Sciences, Professor V. Shyian.

After graduation M. Hrytsenko worked at Sumy Agricultural Institute in the positions of a Senior Lecturer, an Associate Professor of the Department of Agriculture. In 1993 he moved to work to Sumy Physical and Technological Institute, where he worked until September 1994 as a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Applied Mathematics. In 1994-1998 M. Hrytsenko held a managerial position in Sumy commercial structures.

From 1998 to 2003 M. Hrytsenko held the position of an Associate Professor of the Department of Statistics, Deputy Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Dean of the Department of Law at Sumy National Agrarian University.

From 2003 to 2009 M. Hrytsenko was holding the position of an Assistant Professor of the Department of Finance at the Azov Regional Institute of Management (Berdyansk). In 2009 he was appointed Head of the Department of Finance of the Azov Regional Institute of Management of Zaporizhzhia National Technical University.

Since 2012 M. Hrytsenko has been workind as an Associate Professor at the Department of Economics, Entrepreneurship and Finance of Berdyansk State Pedagogical University.

Areas of scientific interests: modeling of financial and economic activity of enterprises of the resort and recreational sphere.

1. Hrytsenko was aworded by Honorary Diplomas for many years of conscientious work, fruitful pedagogical activity by Sumy National Agrarian University, the Azov Regional Institute of Management, Berdyansk State Pedagogical University, the Department of Education and Science of Zaporizhzhia Oblast State Administration. In 2016 M. Hrytsenko’s activity was commended by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.

Mykhaylo P. Hrytsenko is an author and co-author of 78 scientific publications, including 4 textbooks, 8 collective monographs, 53 scientific articles.
